Yesteryear Collection

From the early 1900s, Le Roith & Co. was operating in London’s West End tobacco industry, which at the time was densely populated with small specialist manufacturers, importers, and retailers of products like cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco.

From the late 1800s to WWI, Egyptian cigarettes - using imported Turkish tobacco - were seen as luxury products that influenced European markets. European smokers developed a taste for these exotic blends, and many UK and continental producers marketed cigarettes with Egyptian style names or blends to tap that prestige.
